He has lost his place. He hasn't really progressed since he became a starter when he was 17. He is still the same player and he turns 20 next month. I believe it's a bit different though in The Netherlands than Italy. Dutch clubs aren't allowed to have a negative bank balance or they'll get sanctions and penalised. Our worst debt was 30 million Euro's which is peanuts to most Italian clubs I guess.
We have now cleared it with the many outgoing transfers and our great youth academy. That really saved us.
