Travelling to Brussels is probably cheaper. The journey by train from Brussels to Rotterdam is about 1 hours. Lot of Dutch people fly from Brussels to other destinations in Europe.

25 minutes - € 11,90 one way. That Schiphol station to Rotterdam central station. You still need an extra ticket from Rotterdam central station to Rotterdam Stadion (stadium). It stops next to the stadium.

The only thing you have to worry about is that Brussels Airport is not really in Brussels. It's in the middle of nowhere and takes a bit more time with travelling but a lot cheaper in the end.
